Simple, mais chargé de sens

À l’affût de calligraphies inspirantes… je découvre toujours des merveilles de simplicité chargées de «sens».

Dans notre monde factice, centré sur la performance, la compétition, l’efficacité, la réalisation, la vitesse, la production, etcetera, il peut être assez difficile de s’abandonner à une activité aussi paisible et «intérieure». Mais la récompense vaut mille fois plus que l’effort requis pour dépasser notre sentiment d’inaptitude...

«Mon ami, Lu Chekowsky, est venu à mon atelier à l'Institut Omega en juillet 2012. Il avait emmené son ami Eric Chang, un jeune et brillant cinéaste coréen, intéressé par mon travail qu'il voulait filmer. Il a tourné pendant deux jours et demi et a créé une vidéo de 5 minutes! intitulée «Not Knowing» d’après l’un des thèmes-clé de l'atelier Zen «Ne pas savoir est ce qu’il y a de plus intime». Extrait biographique :

Alok Hsu Kwang-han est un peintre-calligraphe Zen de renommée internationale, originaire de Chine. Ses créations représentent une étonnante synthèse de la beauté de la calligraphie chinoise, de la spontanéité et de la simplicité du Zen, et de l'évolution de la psychothérapie occidentale. Ses peintures servent de portails. On entre dans ses tableaux, comme on entre «chez soi». Le Zen est art et l’art est Zen, enseigne-t-il dans ses ateliers. Il offre également une formation appelée «la créativité du non-faire» aux organisations internationationales et dirigeants d'entreprise.

Éducation : Alok a étudié les mathématiques, la théologie chrétienne, la sociologie et la psychologie religieuse, dans des universités américaines. Il a enseigné la sociologie religieuse et la psychologie transcendantale en Chine, et a traduit et publié 20 ouvrages sur la méditation.
